THE REV. KENDALL HAYNES
The Ten Commandments
(Exodus 20:2–17 and Deuteronomy 5:6–21)

You shall have no other gods but me.

You shall not make for yourself any idol.

You shall not invoke with malice the Name of the Lord your God.

Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy.

Honor your father and your mother.

You shall not commit murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not be a false witness.

You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Land use acknowledgement:
Living in Tacoma, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I am ON THE TRADITIONAL HOMELANDS OF THE PUYALLUP TRIBE. THE PUYALLUP PEOPLE HAVE LIVED ON AND STEWARDED THESE LANDS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, AND CONTINUE TO DO SO TODAY. I RECOGNIZE THAT THIS LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IS ONE SMALL STEP TOWARD TRUE ALLYSHIP AND I COMMIT TO UPLIFTING THE VOICES, EXPERIENCES, AND HISTORIES OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF THIS LAND AND BEYOND.
